ABOUT TANYA

Tanya Brown was born in Oakland, California in 1971. She resided in the Bay Area until she left for college at the University of Southern California. After a successful career in sales and while raising three children, she decided that it was time to pursue her passion for law.

She moved back to Northern California and attended Golden Gate University school of law. In 2014, she decided to open up her own firm so that she could have a positive impact on other people's lives. For her volunteer work as a pro bono attorney for the Justice and Diversity Center, Ms. Brown was selected by the Bar Association of San Francisco for its Outstanding Volunteer Award for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018. In September of 2018, the Justice and Diversity Center also recognized Tanya as the volunteer of the month.

Today, The Law Office of Tanya R. Brown aims to provide justice to those who need it most; with fair and ethical legal practices.
